Black Branch Gecko II: which fill?

Looking for opinions on the standard vs elite fill for the Gecko II bag. I saw someone say the elite was heavier, but their website claims they're about the same. Which one provides a better shooting platform in your opinion? Why?

I've never heard of them but just a cursory look on the website, it seems that it's not so much about weight differences but differences in feel of the bag. Looks like they're running a sale right now but for an extra $10 they give you the option to get both fills to try out, that might be the way to go.

Mine had elite fill. I changed it out for poly bead fill. The elite just does not seem to 'lock in' around the rifle or a barricade.

Good call. I assumed it was some 50/50 mix, but you might be right.

Bought the Gecko bag a couple months ago with the elite fill and opted for the standard as well. Only used it a couple times so I’m still adjusting the amount of fill in the bag before trying to switch it out. It’s way overfilled when it arrives and they send enough of the regular fill to probably do 2 bags. The regular fill with the buckwheat does seem to have more friction than the elite.
