Can someone please explain the differences of the two if any and what would be the advantages of having this done say to a remington 700 action.
Thanks for any input.

blueprinting is remachining a factory action to make round features (barrel threads ) concentric with the bolt raceway, and all perpendicular features ( bolt lugs, reciever lugs, front of receiver ) square with bolt raceway.
A lot of guys just square ( True ) up the receiver face to the bolt raceway.
