Yes I did the whole kit w/the ball head but wound up buying a bigger ball head, I put the smaller ball head on another tripod for my Binos and spotting scope.

The bushing is setup for 3/8-16 bolt which is what the anvil 30 uses I do believe.

Yes with the adapter the saddle can then be locked into the ball head. Lots of firearms now have arca-swiss rails on them so that you could do away with the saddle and bolt your rifle right to the ball head. This saves the weight of the saddle which is ~2-3lbs I have seen.

Edit: But yes the adapter plate bolts to the saddle and the saddle can then mount into the ball head for use on basically any firearm or crossbow or gear that the saddle can hold.

Thanks. Yeah, none of my rifles have an Arca rail.....yet. So I'll be reusing the Death grip for a little bit. My full kit from you should be here Monday or Tuesday, can't wait

Couple new options added!

Bog Deathgrip Adapter Plate and Screws Only $45: This will come with the adapter plate and 4 screws only.
Bog Deathgrip Bushing, Bolt and Adapter Plate Only (for if you have your own ball head) $50: This will come with the aluminum bushing for the tripod, The 3/8-16 bolt for most ballheads and the adapter plate to attach the deathgrip to Arca-Swiss.

Ill take the Bushing, Bolt and Adapter plate as I have a ball head already to put on it.

Got mine weeks ago but finally installed it, removed the saddle entirely. Much lighter and easier to use with an ARCA rail. Might be the best thing I’ve bought in this forum. If someone wants the old saddle, I’ll send it; PM me.

Anybody with a deathgrip needs to update it with this. I received mine in 3 days, installed in 10 minutes. Most of my guns are converted to Acra mount and this kit changes the deathgrip from a good tripod to a great one. Even better, I can still use the deathgrip head for my non converted guns or with friends who dont have mounts.

Forgot to mention in case anyone is looking, the Arca plates I have used were Annex Defense for the mloks and Tough Tactical Tools for the keymods. Both are excellent
