Gunsmithing Borescope Tips

Bought a cheap borescope off Amazon hoping to check for gas block alignment but am not too sure what I should be looking for. Can you tell if a gas block is properly aligned with a borescope? Or do most modern barrels and gas blocks line up at installation if installed at the correct 12 o'clock position? The barrel is a Douglas mk12 and gas block is badger mk12.

Depending on the resolution of your borescope you should be able to tell if the gas port is occluded by the block.

I primarily use my borescope for this exact thing. If you can't tell if it's aligned just twist the gas block out of alignment to see the difference between aligned and not aligned.

keep your anal probe clean and sterilized don't share it with another human being you just never know where they have been and most likely you don't wanna know . Oh look is that a cheerio

If using a Teslong you should be able to adjust the LED brightness down.

Fun fact a colonoscopy probe goes in about 9 feet....oh yay it's fun to be old.
