In regards to muslim imports there are couple of factors in play
EU is in great place to live, prosperous ,free ,with good paying jobs,shools,healthcare,pensions ,social security ,low crime rates .
EU attracts economic imgrants like US due to above reasons , folks want to move from shitholes to prospering countries, but unlike US , EU realy has a generous social support system ,that is also one of the atractions that is being exploited by the imigrants.
US regime change wars create a constant stream of refuges the influx from Iraq,Syria and Afghanistan ,Kosovo constantly represent mayor immigrant groups and represent well over 50% of these imports.
UK and France in delusions of past imperial and colonial grandeur ferment their own wars and like US support whole bunch of inept dictators and cleptocrats troughout ME and Africa in order to exploit natural resources and oloaf weapons, both also cater to host of goatfucker 'royalty' in turn most for these countries continue to be economicaly challenged shitholes with no real prospects of them getting better further fueling immigration. Its kinda ironic for UK to go bananas over migration when its realy much down to its dealings in the world and imperial past.
And then there is Germany an industrial super power that suffers manpower shortage since ww1 and ww2 decimated much of their population. Allied soldiers simply did not father enough kids in Germany for them to recover.
Germany for decades had offical policy of importing Gastabeiter(guest workers) first waves the were Greeks,Spaniards,Portugese,Italian , second wave they had to expand to Yugoslavs and Turks ,Maroccans etc. creation of EU and enlagment to the east was the next step as it enabled Germans, Italians,Britons to plunder the east of its workers Poles ,Balts,Romanians,Bulgarians migrated in milions ,stagering mumbers as some of these couries had up to 20% of population move west. For some of these like the Poland , Ukraine war and economic colapse are the best thing they could ever hope for so they can fill their jobs without importing from asia (they were lookign to start imports from Philipines)
Aside from Eastern Europe and post Soviet states ,rest of the world in about 1000mile radius is Muslim.
The last big move the import of 2mio muslims most in 2015 past is first down to US wars that generate this lot and Germans being a bit naive to usefulness of these imports. Now things are far from levels of 2015 as Germans realised this group is bunch of useles wankers , poorely educated not of much use to German economy so muslim import is for couple of years now more or less closed down to minimal levels.
