Bout to pull the trigger (Voodoo S)

I've waited years, watching the thermal market and I'm finally ready to pull the trigger. I'm sold on the Voodoo-S for use both an HMT and clip on, just wondering if I should wait a little longer for maybe an upgraded voodoo-s(higher resolution). I could wait til early 2025. Thanks guys

The real question is will there be one for a long while? What would the driver be to move to a higher resolution if power consumption and size goes up without a very significant improvement for a short/mid range unit like the Voodoo S? The folks who want high resolution are likely going to be using a different unit (IE XELR or Voodoo M).

I doubt you would be disappointed in a Voodoo S if short/mid range clipon and a combined weapon/handheld unit is your goal... They are awesome units.

I just bought one. No regrets. They told me directly they don’t have any upgrades planned right now.
