So I just watched a show on Amazon called peripheral. Set in the early 2030's, futuristic quantum gaming kind of thing, involves time travel into 2099 and all kinds of weird stuff. Kind of like Bruce Willis in surrogates but with a time travel alternate dimension twist. Anyway, in this show they depicted a war, US vs Texas, and a domestic terrorist attack involving a nuclear silo in North Carolina. And a blackout across north America, and famine, and another pandemic. They called it the jackpot.

If your desire was to flood the system and cause it to crumble from the inside then this emerging ruckus isn't unaccounted for and may very well be expected to be part of the process. The current commander of the Texas Guard is a former Fed so I would wonder where his allegiances fall.

The political strategists should look at this map as it matures. The odds that those states that get behind Abbott also go for Trump may be pretty good. For damn sure securing the border will be a message that resonates with them.

Texas guard website says you have to be a resident for 180 days. While Biden could nationalize the Texas National Guard, the Texas State Guard answers to the Governor.
