British Broad Arrow marked Alaskan

I have a Lyman Alaskan serial 4595S. To my surprise it is marked with a British acceptance “broad arrow”.
Very curious as to the story!

Nice one! I'm no expert on this version, but the S marked versions were adopted for the Canadian no. 32 TP during WWII, under contract to the Canadian government.
