Anyone know how to get ahold of accushot?

I got an atlas from SRT Supply with AI spigot that does not seat in the chassis. Its like the spigot is too short. My other atlas bipods lock right in, so I know its not the chassis.

Secondly, the tension adjustment seems to be broken. It works nothing like the others. It doesn't really loosen up at all.

I tried calling the phone number on accushot's website. I've also tried emailing and PM'ing kasey here on the forums. I'm under a time deadline here, so I was curious if anyone has any other way to contact them.

I'm not knocking accushot in any way here. The atlas is still my favorite bipod, hands down. ... but I need to get a replacement coming asap.

Had a half hour with him at SHOT. The materials and design are such that there is a break-in period for the swivel setup.

I had the same problem with my spigot that I got from Adam. We both measured it up against other ones and they were the same. He sent me a new one and that one didn't lock in either. What I did was take a file and run it across the inside face of the spigot where the arm in the stock would hold it. I only had to run he file across it a couple times. You don't want to take too much off of it. Now mine works like a champ.

I'm on the phone with SRT right now. Looks like they are going to hook me up and cross ship one for me.

Yeah, but nothing really wrong with the razor... just subjective shit. I like the scope, but I'm just trying to figure out of its worth the money.

If you remove that plastic cover on the adjustment wheel, you'll see two nuts, one has backward threads and is used for securing the upper nut after the tension is set.

    Re: Broken Atlas bipod

orkan, sorry I missed your call. I know I was on the phone at least twice today when other calls came in and I'll only ask a customer to hold once. So I trust one of those calls was you, again I apologize.

And much as I'd like to spend more time here, but at least try to check the Hide once a day for PM's, but my email, [email protected], I see all day long and is the best way to contact me.

I have replied to your PM.

The Atlas/Spigot Drumie speaks of is the same one I mentioned in the PM. I have no idea what is going on as we have shipped several hundred of the Atlas/AI Spigot sets out and it seems this last batch has had issues, I have no idea if it's the spigot or the block placement in the tube. Thus my request for you to send it back to me so I can actually inspect it and discover what it is. But I understand your situation and the deadline you are up against.

Last, since the above situation was brought to my attention every Atlas/AI Spigot we ship has been checked in my AI chassis, and to date they all have fit. Thus my dilemma, guess I'll just have to buy another chassis...

    Re: Broken Atlas bipod

To clarify, I was using 2 different AICS chassis, and the spigot fit in neither.

Be that as it may, don't beat yourself up. Shit happens.

SRT Supply took very good care of me, and shipped out a replacement today, and paid for a UPS label to send the other back. They will certainly be getting more of my business.
