I bought a Gunsmithing Multi-Vise from them over 15 years ago and the lead screw and nut stripped out recently.

I called them and asked about replacement parts, they forwarded me to tech, and they told me to send it in and they would replace it...the whole vise! I made it clear it had been over 15 years and they said no problems!

Doesn't get much better than that!

I remember paying around $40 or $50 then, they are $300 now!

Thats the reason we still use Brownells also. Their pricing isn't always the best (Midway retail sometimes beats Brownells DEALER), but their CS is top notch. They have never even questioned a return, and that confidence means more than a cheap price.

The only better customer service we've ever seen was Dillon's.

I spend a shit ton with them every year and love the shipping aspect of it. If its small they will put it in a $4.95 package or UPS. If its back-ordered off your original order it ships for free. That's why I choose them over Midway 90% of the time. Now you can use the same cart for Sinclair and Brownells which is nice.

I'm with everyone on this one. Our shop does most of our orders through brownells and we never have a problem. I was at Brownells a few years ago for the gunsmith job fair and the people who worked there including the owner were all great people.

Ya I can only say the same thing, there very commited alright. You dont have to wait a week to get a reply from any emails, they organise exports like its for fun, great people really.

WOW! that's some customer service. I've always had a good experience with them and will always do business with them. Such a great company.

Wow, great to hear. They are made in the USA, have an excellent reputation, and lifetime warranty. I just backordered the super screwdriver kit from them with all the 1/4" chucks. Can't wait to get it. Still looking for a torque wrench though... SK is number one in the running so far. Any suggestions?

Re: Brownell's is unbelieveable !!

it's not just customers directly that they're committed to, they also help out the gunsmithing program at Murray State College here in Oklahoma a LOT, and I'm sure the others as well, Larry Potterfield told Murray State to all but fuck off on any help, Brownell's DONATED the new Mills and such that the school needed... I'll use Brownell's too

Re: Brownell's is unbelieveable !!

Been buying stuff from them for over 20 years.

Recently I placed an order with Sinclair(now owned by Brownells). They left out 150 pcs of .308 brass. I called the day it arrived and the lady never questioned me. It was all "yes, yes, yes" and, "We will get that brass out today."

Good people for certain.

I started buying from Brownells in 1996, and the customer service has been top notch, for me, for 15 years.

I use to order a ton through midway but their shipping will break you now. They charged me $8 to ship a back ordered pin that was $.75, Of course they refunded part of it when I called but brownells is a lot better at their shipping prices.

Re: Brownell's is unbelieveable !!

+1 on Brownells. In addition to the great and speedy service, they give you all the vital statistics, like dimensions, so you can figure out what you need. I like Midway for some things, but Midway is pretty skimpy on information.
