Gunsmithing Browning bar mk3 barrel removal

Very little info nobody around me wants to touch them but if I remember correctly they have a star head bolt that you loosen to remove I wanted to have my barrel threaded for a suppressor but I shelved the idea until I can find someone nearby that would do it

Same here, my go to guy says there is too much at risk with them being an alloy receiver. He did give me the option to add a small, custom sleeve adapter that slides over the barrel, welded, and pinned. The only problem with this is it wont look very good when the can is off of the rifle.

Contact @LongRifles Inc. to see what they can do. They can thread muzzles without having to remove the action.

do you know if the 1991 BAR type II has these pinch bolts? where are they accessed from? thanks
gonna follow, hopefully someone will answer your question. I have a 1992 and midwestgunwerks has a new barrel but not going to buy it till I know I can get the old one off
Edit: I emailed Randall at ar15barrels and he told me he is not familiar with the model differences. after doing more research and looking at the barrels pic at midwest gun works the 91 and 92 type II barrels are threaded and do not have those pinch bolts. I have not found a gunsmith willing to do a barrel swap yet but Browning lists midwest gun works as one of the authorized gun centers, I may call them about sending my BAR to them for a re barrel mainly as I want the barrel threaded for my BOSS and they can thread it before installing
