Bullet for the AR15

Hello all,

Just got into reloading 223, looking to work up something for a precision oriented AR15, that needs to be mag feed.

Usually have been shooting the sierra 77gr Hollow Point Boat Tail out of factory ammo and it performs well.
Is there any bullet that performs better that can be loaded to mag length?

That Sierra SMK works well
Berger 77 otm works well

Not sure if their is much else in stock anywhere

Hornady 75gr is a good option when the 77 OTM and 77 SMK aren't available.

Hornady 75s and 77s smk or Tmk. Or try they 69s

I have had good results with the Hornady 75 grain BTHP Match.

The TMK is going to be the best bullet BC wise that you can realistically fit to mag length. I used them for a while with good results.

Currently using 75gr BTHP with just as good of results behind XBR 8208.

Hello, I wold say Berger makes most accurate I have tested. But you can achieve very good accuracy with tuning and testing with Nosler/Sierra or Hornady, too.

As you can see, All sub MOA except last group. Using variety of brands. I don't even consider N140 the best for accuracy, I consider it upper, middle tier.
