Bullet that steers itself?

Re: Bullet that steers itself?

couple of concerns i see here:
*now someone has to hold a laser (or Laze) on the target.
*anything "smart" can be used against you or jammed. when the enemy effectivly lazes your allies your overwatching, you'll understand
*how durable are the rounds? can they get wet? survive high heat, cold, radiation?
* how much is each round (cost)
*laser runs out of batteries, can it still function?
*close range application
*ability to peirce armor?

couple of perks i see
+a mini gun round assistance for windage, lead and lag
+two man team diffrent perspective shot correction (shooting around a corner, etc)

Re: Bullet that steers itself?

I bet you could by a rifle for what one of those laser rounds cost.

As far as shooting. I shoot for sport, what fun would that be. It would be kind of like setting a basketball net 2 foot off the ground and bragging about how many jump shots you could make.

Not for me.

Re: Bullet that steers itself?

I think it's going to take a long action.

The blurb I heard included the statement that it would be available to "recreational shooters." Yeah right. That baby will be banned for sale to civies about two seconds after it goes into production. Plus, who could afford it?
