I take it back....... ARGHHHHH>> Worst customer service ever....... Ordered 2 boxes of bullets and a case gage($5.99) shipping for all the items was $15. Received and email saying the bullets we on backorder. No biggie, I'll just call and cancel the whole order.. Well it seems in 5 minutes the case gage was picked, boxed and shipped. Customer service said they can not do anything about it. I didnt even receive any tracking info, so how could it already be on a truck???? Seems like they want to make $15 bucks by selling a 5 dollar part......Brownells sucks! Never will shop there again.....
I finally got lucky last week and scored 500 175 SMKs, the brown truck dropped them off this afternoon. The only way I have been able to find anything is to be vigilant. Google is your friend. I am not running over by any means but as of todays delivery I am good on .308 componets for this match season. My big help was finding a good load with a subsitute powder for my Varget loads. I still would like to have some varget but I doubt I will ever use it in my .308 again and if I do just for one hunting VLD load. I am good now on Amaxs, SMKs, and primers. I am still searching for some .308 Lapua brass, I am gtg on brass but I always have kept a new box on hand and this is not the current case.

I'm going to miss the first 1000 yard competition this year because of the shortage. Sad thing is, when I get the bullets, I will shoot the 500 in 6 months. Gotta love it though.....I'll be back in the saddle soon....
Same thing happened to me when ordering a VLD seater stem for my comp seater die. Showed in stock, next day I got an e-mail saying it was on back order. Luckily I was able to cancel.
