Here's a pic of my custom Bullpup .308win built on a Weatherby Vanguard Varmit. I custom made the stock and fire control system. The scope is a Xdoptics 6-24x56 and the brake is a 8 port Darkmetal design. She shoots sub-moa out to 900yrds.

Re: Bullpup .308win

Holy Short rifles Batman! That is awesome! Would love to see the groups it shoots and what ammo?! What fire control system did you rig up??
Nice work!

Re: Bullpup .308win

How is the trigger? I haven't found a bullpup design that has a trigger that I like, and I would see that as an issue in a precision rifle. However, most of the bullpups I have handle have also been pretty cheap, I imagine a quality setup would make a bit difference.

Re: Bullpup .308win

The trigger was fun trying to set up the geometry. It has an ajustable linkage to remove any play. The barrel length is only 22 inches with 1 in 12 twist. The load I'm using is a 168gr sierra matchking with lapua brass and federal match primers. Traveling at about 2750fps gives me good stable flight. The barrel and front trigger is fully floated.

Then you haven't shot a DTA SRS.

Re: Bullpup .308win

Sorry Pugsley, this set-up is pure custom. Next time I have the Bull-Pup apart, (which is often because I'm forever tinkering) I'll take some pics of the fire control I made up for it. It took a lot of full size sketches to set it out. I've put over 1000 rds through it with no failures.

Re: Bullpup .308win
