Rifle Scopes Burris Veracity same as Steiner Predator Extreme ??

I don't know wether Burris bought out Steiner or vise versa but for shore, Burris has taken on a Steiner look about there scopes lately. I'm not complaining I like the european look myself. Iv'e been considering the Seiner Predator Extreme 3-15X50 but I see that the Burris Veracity in the same power range looks so much alike, I wonder if they are the same scope just with a different name and of corse with different price, the Steiner commanding the higher dollar.

Anyone have experience with these two scopes or knows the answer??

Steiner and Burris are both under Berreta's umbrella. Not the same glass, coatings, or scope.

So what your saying is that Berreta owns both Burris and Steiner? can you elaborate on (Not the same glass, coating, or scope).....
