Rifle Scopes Bushnell customer service issue- RESOLVED

Just got my Elite 3200 tactical back from Bushnell today. It was brand new and sent back because it was adjusting 1.25" for every minute dialed. Got the scope back in record time. They say they re-centered the reticle, adjusted the assembly, and adjusted the the AO. Thats all fine and good, but they also sent me an invoice ($10) for the cost of shipping it back to me. If they had checked it out and found nothing wrong I could understand it, but it was obviously defective. Anyone else think this is bullshit, or am I being unreasonable here? We will find out if its fixed tomorrow.

Did you provide a copy of the receipt? They've fixed or replaced a couple for me including one that was out of warranty so I happily paid the $10 on that one but I would think they would cover the shipping for a new scope.

I have had 1-elite 6500 and 1- elite 4200 i had to send back but only paid shipping to them. the 6500 was defective but the 4200, i broke that myself but they still replaced it for free and no return shipping.

when my millett was bad i didnt pay shipping either way, coming or going. i was in the same boat as you, it was broken right out of the box. i felt like i had done my part in buying it. had i broken it in use, $10 would have been fine. its only $10, but still...

Sir, I'd refrain from commenting until you shot through the scope. No sense in speculating before then, as nothing really good can come from it...
In regards to CS, I've been dealing with Bushnell's Customer service through a 'Hide member and he has gone out of his way to take absolute care of me. And for that, I thank you, Jeff!

I had a warranty with a 6500 purchased second hand, sent it back on my dime and a new scope arrived rather quickly freight paid.
You might just need to call probably something you can work out.
