To qualify my review I'm fairly green to nice/expensive glass. First impression for me is that it has some pretty crisp glass. Clicks are fairly firm, illumination is green and looks good. Oh and deltaoutdoors shipped fast:) Thanks!

Can't wait for this weekend or maybe sooner to put it on target and see how i like it.

Ring question? It's mounted on a savage 110 BA .338 with some way to tall rings. What i had laying around. Anybody with one of these and a suggestion for ring height\rings that will bring it out of the atmosphere?

I don't mind dropping the dough if need be but don't want to do it twice.

Do you have some calipers?

Measure the distance between the top of the rail and the bottom of the scope. Add half the scope's tube diameter. That's your rail-to-center distance on your existing setup.

Measure the distance between your scope and rifle where your scope gets closest to touching the rifle. That's probably the objective bell and barrel.

Subtract the closest distance from your current rail-to-center distance. Add a bit of wiggle room like 1/8-1/4". That will be the lowest ring height you can get away with.
