As far as I know, your options are $150 barska then you jump to over $1000 for the high qulaity spotters. The good quality, +/- $350 range is gone.

No - it jumps to around $1100 for USO's field scope, then to over $1500 for an actual spotter with any sort of reticle. Hell, I'd be thrilled with a firm $750 spotter with a mil reticle that was of decent quality. A Kowa 60mm with a 25x LER eyepiece with a mil reticle would sell like crazy I bet. Or a Vortex, or Bushnell, or anything else.

The Vortex Viper has the ability to change eyepieces. If they made a fixed 35 power mil reticle eyepiece I would be interested.

love mine, been using it for 2 years now..FFP, mil dot..great match up for my ffp mil dot scope. Now spotter and shooter speak the same language.
