Rifle Scopes Bushnell LRTSi v DMR2I

Considering LRTSi 4.5-18 v DMR2i for following rifle.

Tikka CTR 308. Outfitted with Sterk bolt, shroud, limbsaver and Harris brms. I’ve decided to keep it in its standard stock because it serves its purpose really well, keeps weight down and really like the dbm and TRG mag. I have quite a lot of experience with tikkas in various setups.

When I put together a dedicated precision setup it will highly likely be an AI with an appropriate scope as I’ve done all the usual add ons to production guns, been there done that.

Rifle is used for hunting day and night and occasional steel out to 1000. Predominantly hunting and steel out to 500-600.

Regarding scopes.

I can get both Bushnell models for a good price with the DMR2i being about 20% more in price.

Atm whichever scope will likely sit in Arc M10 rings.

Unfortunately cannot test either scope in person prior to ordering.

I have had both Razor 5-20 and swfa 5-20 previously for reference.

At present I’m leaning towards the LRTSi as it’s a little lighter, cheaper and 18x is no issue for max mag.

Looking for comparisons between both Bushnell models for this purpose from those who have experience.

Glass, reticle thickness, turrets etc.

I would go LRTSi also. You are going to get about the same FOV. You will end up with a little less internal adjustment. I think the have the same reticle don't they? My DMR2 had the G3, but all my LRHS were G2H.

I’ve checked out the FOV. Same reticle yes but same thickness I’m not sure.

Also what is the internal adjustment on the LRTSI?

I dont remember off hand, 20 maybe . I usually end up with about 15 mils useable elevation on a 20 moa base.

Internal on my LRTSi is 23.5 mils, and as long as your comparing illuminated models for both, the reticle will be the same. The non-illuminated has thinner stadia lines within 2 mils from the intersect (I believe .03mil for non vs .06mil for illuminated).
