Outstandingly informational video! I totally understand the wants/reasons for the Winchester action, but what's the cost difference between the work done on it vs a custom action? And will the Winchester preform as well?

Hey Chad are you going to start producing DBMs for these? I've said it before and I'll say it again, when my SPR needs rebarreled it's going to LRI for the full treatment.

This particular one is for a clover tang P64 with the 3.125" length port.
Model 70 rifles are awesome. Far superior to the m700 in my opinion.

See the tang pictures, the top right picture shows the clover tang vs the newer tapered style but notice how even the tapered ones are not all the same in the top left picture. There’s lots of small differences through out the years and it’s very often not as simple as “this year to this year has this” as older spare parts where used up to build rifles.
If you like M70’s this is a heck of a book for Pre64s, I could only stomach the soft cover reprint price though.

@LongRifles Inc. can you tell me what bolt work you do, when you true the Winchester model 70? Considering sending one in to be trued up, but I don’t see any bolt work description on the website unless I’m missing it. Thanks
