C-19 end game?

who is old enough to remember the doco shocking asia?
they've been doing their weird things with their culture and foods for 100s if not 1000s of years.
so what changed at the end of last year?

people need to take the blinders off and start and thinking for themselves rather than jump on the same bandwagon as everyone else.
ask more questions and seek more answers, sometimes the simplest questions will be the most obvious as will the answers.
communists, socialists, etc aren't much different to the rest of us. they too are stuck on this rock like us with different beliefs much like religions.
communist or socialist, which imaginary man on the moon do you pray to?

it will be hard for many to wake up from the trance they've either been put in or have put themselves in.
i personally don't care what religion a person believes in or what party they follow off a cliff (who's played lemmings?).
to me the character of the person is what matters. if they treat me with respect i will treat them with the same respect.

everyone has their own personal views on the different cultures we share this rock with, the difference is how one deals with that difference, but do they breathe the same air and drink the same water as you? are they all struggling to get by the same as you? sure not everyone will be as fortunate as the next or have the same skin colour (orange man, see i made a funny there) or share the same views or follow the same political (idiot) party but is that something one needs to get violent or argue over? who cares. go mow the lawn if the snow has melted in your part of the world or go cut some firewood if you're waiting for winter to set in in another part of the world. the sun will still come up from the east and go down in the west.

Hopefully the endgame is not too many casualties. The lockdowns work and the virus is not spread to a point where people question to necessity of the lockdown in the first place.
Be safe & COVID free guys.

Another interesting aspect is how some companies will rethink inventories...and how the govt may play a role here as well. Perhaps offset some of cost of holding minimum inventory.
Inventory is usually kept to the high & low standard for average use. No one wants to have more than necessary for many reasons. Being taxed on the inventory?

When JIT operations fail, it will go south quickly for big citys. The question is will they learn from that pain, if they even survive? I know of some small towns who have already made plans to deal with outside FSA types.

Cash flow is the big one. Tie up your money in inventory and go broke because you can’t pay the bills. Taxes like you said on any inventory is big as well. The government taxes everything a company owns over and over again. How about doing away with property taxes for businesses. That may offset some costs of doing business in the US vs China. I don’t know the numbers but it would help.
