Rifle Scopes cabela's pine ridge scopes

Re: cabela's pine ridge scopes

I have the pine ridge 17 on my wife's 17 hmr. For the price it is not bad. Glass wife the Simmons that was on it previously was a TAD better but the ballistcs turrets worked pretty dam good. my son also got one for his 223, again with the replaceable ballistic turrets, work ok. All in all glass is ok, for a rimfire or centerfire out to say 200 yards it is adequate.

Re: cabela's pine ridge scopes

i bought one for my 300 win mag and expressly asked the guy if it would hold up to the 300 wm and he said "without a doubt", guess what 45 rounds later, and the day before the rifle opener the higher magnifications wont focus anymore, the 16 and 18 are extremely cloudy and the 14 is the highest it will focus out, probably a decent scope for the sissy calibers tho
