There is not going to be any civil war. There may be violent outbursts that will lead to heavy handed crackdowns.

The American right is too comfortable to participate in any real "war." Your family, job and way of life would be disrupted too drastically and for a long period of time. I agree with the statement about scattered violent clashes here and there, but the leftist twats won't venture very far away from their controlled urban territories and we are not willing to go in and take out the trash. I see 4 years of bitching, moaning and memes posted on facebook but not much more than than.
There is already a war going on. You think these communist interest groups are just going to stop once the dems take control? They don't even care about dems, they just know they are more easily influenced because their agenda more closely aligns than it does with republicans. They are using maps, coordinating training for riots, finding like-minded individuals within the federal government to further their agenda. The main leader for this whole sunrise movement has already admitted they are ill equipped for a toe-to-toe confrontation. Instead they use harassment tactics to antagonize people causing them to commit the serious crimes. Look at the husband and wife that stood out in front of their home with protestors at their property after forceful entry. Who got arrested? It wasn't the protestors.
This goes way deeper than most of you want to admit. I too thought this was going to eventually blow over, but it's not going away. Their whole plan is inciting chaos on their terms. These leaders themselves are not capable of fighting, but they weaponize those to do their bidding such as young influential people who are told they are being oppressed and America should no longer exist.
Let's face it, there are only a few ways this can ultimately go:
1) these organizations loose steam and die off because they don't have the balls to do anything further than damage stores and verbally harass people
2) they become increasingly violent and grow in numbers that local authorities can't even manage it anymore
3) they are met with force from those who want to preserve the USA
4) the government decides to take military action against them (highly unlikely)
5) NATO forces are on the ground as "peacekeepers" until the country is "back in order". (much more likely than number 4)
The only comforting thing about number 5 is even communist groups would be against them because it would just be another totalitarian system that doesn't give a shit about their constitutional rights. These interest groups have zero intention of being on the defensive end.
So the question is, what are we going to do about it?

Under the Obama years they didn’t have a super majority there wasn’t that much bad legislation that got through.

The pandemic and riots have caused the greatest period of increasing gun sales and new gun owners the USA has ever seen. Even greater than when #44 was around.
The people are prepared and will be ready if anything unfortunate happens.
Stop trying to avoid it; its not magically going to go away.
Prepare for it and with that, hope the other side realizes what its about to get themselves into and then loses their drive/willingness to fight because all they see are the multiple unknowns and a great potential of their destruction.
That is the only way.

Took their remaining 20 rounds home with them for self defense and put the gun in the top drawer of their night stand. They feel safer for it.

I worry about the effect a Biden administration will have on china/Australia relations.
