Suppressors Can you travel to Idaho......

it is recommend to fill out a travel form with the ATF. Even though ATF has said it is not necessary any more for suppressors (still required for all other NFA items).

Yes. And I wouldn't recommend doing any unrequited paperwork. The ATF is slow enough already. They don't need any useless paperwork taking up more of their time.

Yes, needs to be legal in your home state and destination state. I live in Ohio and have property in Colorado. I roll thru Illinois about 3 or 4 times a year with my suppressed prairie dog rigs. Just to confirm, I called the Ohio and Illinois ATF's (who agents gave me their names for documentation) then called the Illinois State Police (needs to be cased and away from driver), but not an issue. I read up as much as I could on this and it seems that you're allowed safe passage as long as you're going through (you can stop for gas, food, rest) and not diverting to see friends off the direct route through the state.

I printed a copy of my discussions and contacts in one of my bags as I don't expect every LEO in a state to be aware of the state's policy.

Look at the safe passage provision.
