Ok call me stupid now. I bought an Extra Power Wolfe Buffer Spring awhile back, took it out of the wrapper and put it in the safe. Now I'm not sure if I bought a carbine or standard spring. Is there any way to tell the difference; length or amount of coils?

Standard spring should be longer, I cant remember by how much though.

I believe rifle is 44 coils and carbine is 36 give or take a coil.

I believe your right....all the pictures show standard at 43 and carbine at 38. Just counted mine....43. Oh well, I'll keep it so when I switch over to a Magpul PRS I'll already have one.
