Sorry to resurrect this thread. I'd like to see the temperature results of a CF wrapped barrel compared to a SS or CM barrel of equal weight. The purpose of the CF wrapped barrels is weight reduction. Will the CF wrapped barrel control temperature any better than a CM or SS barrel of equal weight? Without regard to exterior barrel contour? Any thoughts?
