Cash back credit cards

I prefer ones that have a simple straight forward method.
In my case my favourite one is the Bank of America cash rewards card, it also offers an additional 10% bonus for sending the rebates to your savings account.

Depending on if you do a lot of travel or spend a lot of money on certain things, or want to save up for some big ticket item or vehicle or such, there may be one that fits your goals better.

I'm assuming of course you are always paying it off in full each month.

US Bank Cash+ treats me well.

You get to pick 3 categories to get 5%, 2%, 2% each quarter all other buys I think 1%. You must remember to pick your targeted categories each quarter or you only get the 1%. They email a reminder. Categories include groceries, gas, restaurants, utilities......

As far as I know they never made an anti gun statement.

I got rid of REI membership rewards, 2% and dividends - up to 10% on REI stuff, because they went anti 2A - havent shopped there since.

Next card was Chase Rewards 2% and they went anti 2A.

Been with US Bank since.

If anyone is looking for an airline card, Barclays/American will give you 60K miles off the bat. That's up to 3 free domestic round trips. You can cancel within a year and keep the points. Wife has same card, another free 60. 40K will roundtrip me to Hawaii. (of course they're not taking visitors...)

Sam's Club Mastercard gets you a 5% cash back on gasoline anywhere you use it. Other than that I use my Hilton Honors Amex to get points for free nights. got about 600,000 points currently. Planning a nice trip to someplace sunny this winter.

I use Cabela’s black as well but The quality of the merchandise has gone down since Bass Pro shops Acquired them. When you use points for ammo it feels like you’re getting free ammo.😏

I will be looking into Discover if I can get 3% cashback I’m switching thanks @TheGerman

Discover with 1.5 % back on everything, but with deals that pay 5%. The deals change quarterly, but include things like gas, supermarkets, restaurants, Paypal, Amazon. But the best part is that you can start spending your rewards as soon as they show up on your statement. And I do this all the time. No annual fee.

I have USAA's rewards Visa which is 2% back, I use that almost exclusively except for my prime visa... They rolled in last week and announce 4% back from now until February, no limits. Totally taking advantage of that one. :sneaky:
