Cat saves boy from dog

I would kill that fucking dog's owner

Fixed it... but the dog would get a kicking purely for educational purposes.

I have two cats, brother and sister. The brother is tactically useless, the sister would have gone Mexican cartel crazy on that dog and posted her own video of it on Blog Del Narco...

People on one of the facebook post thingermadingy things I saw this on were saying that the parents of the child were to blame and the dog shouldnt be put down. I call bullshit, if kids cant play on the sidewalk without fear of being eaten then there are bigger issue here. Or its Montana or Idaho where the wolves have more rights than the people.

Between the jaw pressure and the strength to toss that little kid side to side...given a few more seconds the dog could have taken the kids leg off.

I'm sure with all the exposure their are Attorneys already filing law suits against the dog, the owner, ALPO etc.

Certainly fortuitous that the cat pushed the dog off of the attack. Could have ended a lot worse than it did.

Not to mention the fact that the dog is going to be known among all the other dogs on the street as, "the one who got his ass kicked by a cat!"

If the owners don't put that dog down immediately, they qualify as first-class dumbasses.

Hmmmm. Well I suppose I'll hold off on the vacation I had planned for my wife's cat this summer. Its an indoor/outdoor. Love it. Everytime my wife lets the damn thing in the house, the cat and I exchange death stares at one another. Im sure some of you can relate.

Attacked the kid from behind without provocation, DRT for the dog. Owner is next to be dealt with.
Ninja cat saves the day.
I'll bet the parents are glad they had video. I can hear the excuses about the kid teasing the dog from here.

awesome cat! am I the only one that thinks the end of that video is strange? The mom runs to the kid but than ditches the kid for some reason and the kid gets up on his own and starts walking around... If that was my kid first and foremost would be remove him from that area at once than deal with the dog or what ever else. just thought the end of the video was strange

She probably thought the dog was coming back the other way. Perhaps on account of the cat running in that direction. If so she may have wanted to get between her kid and told him to run into the house.

That was pretty amazing. I was dying laughing at the crazy people that say it's not the dog's fault. ... um did they just watch the same video that I did? Awesome cat!

That dog has to be put down. You won't train that behavior out of it. It has it in its mind to attack without provocation. That looked like purely opportunistic aggression - nothing other than the fact that a target was available triggered it to attack. It is a hazard.

Were it my dog, right after seeing that video, adios buddy. Regardless of how loyal a pet you've been, you are now an unmitigated liability for me and others.

Ha! Says the Guy from Colorado. We cat people have won that fight, wolves are fair game these days.

I have watched my 12 lb cat stalk mule deer in my yard and by God if he had 30 lbs more behind those talons we would both have been eating mulie. I have never owned a cat, though I have had several choose to be my friend and companion.

I too have a cat that hunts deer. Can't tell you how many times I've seen a buck/doe run past the homestead with this orange tabby in hot pursuit. All the farm dogs stay away when he's seen on the porch. All of them have had painful encounters with the beast. He patiently waits for them to get close and then latches onto their snout and head.

That cat is the fucking man. That being said, if I just watched my child get attacked like that, I would have went to the neighbors house and cut its throat in front of them. But again, fuckin kudos to that bad ass cat.
