I pride myself in being a true sportsman. Others may disagree but I say if it's edible we should harvest it. The young ones are tender but generally not worth the hunt. No one wants to bag one with a messed up pelt either. Finding the right beaver can truly be a challenge when all you have to preview is their head as they cross they water in front of you. I would venture to say that more than one sportsman out there have harvested before they truly had a good look at things only to realize they probably shouldn't have launched that bullet.
