There are so many damn options available, and this is the best Boykin could come up with? That is exactly one reason why that shit hole will remain a shit hole. Pass it off for some other entity to handle your problems. Perfect. :confused:

When I was at RTC Great Lakes, the brig was condemned. So, the lingering threat for any sailor getting in a fight etc, was to be sent to Cook County. Not many took up the offer.

It's not an issue of law enforcement. The issue is the justice system. These thugs are not locked up, they are turned loose to re offend. Lock them up and your violence problem goes away.

If we give up one shred of our sovereignty to the UN, even in Chicago, we're screwed.

I'd sooner throw a wall around Chicago, carpet-bomb it with Hi-Points, and let the problem burn itself out.

Have you considered that this is a real attempt by the Leftist globalist to have a UN / Globalist foothold in this Country . They already introduced the Strong Cities initiative having foreign pice officers in some cities . Inch by inch , we are under slow , patient and certain siege .

Its like the lefts idea is to goad us into either breaking and giving up or snapping and starting the show with this annoying shit.

Neither would be a good outcome. Giving up is not an option and if they want a show let them fire the first shot (maybe they have) and come out and say what their goals are.

In Boston the school board has thought it would be a good idea to stagger the start times for kids dependent on age, Apparently they want the snowflakes to get more sleep.

Well the parents are not taking it and why would they, it totally fucks up the ability for anyone to work.

So some kids will depart at 0700 and come home at 1300. Some kids will start at 0800 and come home at 1400, and I assume others will be a bit later and come home later accordingly.

So the morning routine now extend possibly to three hours if you have kids of different ages and its possible that if the kids need afternoon care it starts earlier and ends later.

Only an out of touch asshole like a school superintendent would think this is a good idea.

My kid came home today and said my town may consider it.

My thoughts are; hire a certain well known Sheriff from Arizona,lay in a good supply of surplus GP medium tents, pink underwear, and miles of concertina. Put out a bid request for hotdogs and cold cereal.( cheap being the deciding factor ) There have got to be warehouses full of military surplus cots and those top of the line recycled wool blankets.
IIRC Sheriff Joe's cost per prisoner per day was about $.12. We as a nation can afford that.............. for a while.

The cold hard Truth...you could send a division of Marines and they would quell it. But someday they would leave and the violence would return. Why? Because until the people that live there stand up and refuse to let thugs control their lives and neighborhoods, it will continue. Sorry but some things must be fixed from within not from the outside.

One could take that view, however, if u interview the survivors (Or u could be one), and look at 60 years of result and the success of the city now, it was a slope worth travelling. The only people I know that disagreed then were what has been called the "Dixie mafia". and they went to mcnairy county tn where Buford pusser and others ran them out, and they ended up in tunica Mississippi where their survivors now successfully run casinos. that's visible history.

I'm split on this. On one hand I would love to come home and see the news say "hoods fighting a loosing battle against peacekeepers" but then again I could also go for "UN driven out of Chicago by Pookie and Day Day". Tough call.
