Yea, we are corrupt, but that's because our system has been corrupted, not because the ideas are inherently evil. Chinese communism is nothing more than feudal mercantilism. Look at what they're doing to Africa. While our billions are ineffectual and have been mostly stolen, they are gobbling it all up like we have been accused of doing to three generations. They're pretty much guilty of everything we've been wrongly accused of, and the the world is silent.
There's no question they're ascendant unless the people revolt, and we've also seen how the CCP deals with that.

Human life means nothing to people who owe all allegiance to a totalitarian government. They're worse than nazis, and when we are on the pointy end all will find out.
Every day here on SH and in the rest of the world, America and Americans prove by their words, actions, deeds and agreement both open and silent, that they place almost no value on human life that is not "western".
If you want to argue about that, first go look up how many people in say the last quarter century the USA has killed in other countries or died because of actions done or started by the USA.
Then toss in our allies including Israel and get that number.
Then go ask yourself how broken up are you honestly about all those deaths that are well over a million...
Bet you care about all that about as much as the CCP cares about 10,000 protesters...

Fair enough. I certainly care about my countrymen a country mile more than any others. I don’t have a say in what other people value or think, and that’s ok as long as they don’t force their beliefs and power on others. As was discussed in a recent thread, liberty and tyranny don’t get along.
Liberty is the one thing we value more.
I try to have feelings.
The "lesser" people's attempt tyranny because they have an underdevelop pre front cortex so they choose violence more often then not.
(They are less evolved) They war more often.
They also may have feelings of jealousy...and envy which can lead to outbursts.

Seems like bullshit because the passwords and everything else changed when SH moved to scout. Then left scout. In fact when they moved us to scout we had to start new profiles and some people stole other peoples old profile names. Then I think that stuff was brought over to this sight from scout cause I don't remeber a bunch of meltdowns about post counts.

And inless your state bans lead “sales” to the unlicensed (like my state does)… you will not be SOL for your own casting or even jacketed home production! Fortunately, I squirreled away a half-ton of wheelweigjt alloy. Also, tin is a good hardener for bullets…. Also readily available. So not all doom and gloom!’n

We were driving past the decaying remains of the Pueblo steel mill yesterday. Just a few weeks ago it was cole mines and the Cokedale coke plant near Trindad.
Remember, in the collective western memory, he was “crushed by the tanks.”

Better still, just use 5 percent tin and call it a day. Antimony is pretty much trace in bullet casting. Might be higher in cores or military production bullets. Not sure what the alloy of the cores is?
Regardless... if the USA is not completely pussified, we can put together a new gun cotton industry in months. And as for the alloys... use your imagination! Not to mention that there are probably more than a trillion rounds in civilian hands already... blade of grass and all that. (Two Trillion if we count Army Jerry!)
The simple solution to China is for American Consumers to simply say "I am not buying that shit" any more. Then their economy implodes. And better still, we implode weasels like Jeff Bezos, The Walton Family, the Target commie executives, the eBay pieces of shit... and everyone who has sold out the American Worker to sell the American former worker.... crappy plastic that they don't need and which they are buying with money they don't have.

I’m a patriot who’s worked in the State Department during the Kissinger period and witnessed all sorts of shenanigans that literally had me praying to Jesus for forgiveness each damned night.

Admittedly it’s difficult to figure out what really happened, as phones with cameras and broadband internet connectivity were nonexistent then…
…but even Hong Kong natives colloquially refer to the event as a “riot” and do not associate the event with western media has dubbed as a “massacre.” There was no true “concern” over the unrest, as opposed to how people felt over the events in 2019.
The Chinese Red Cross estimated 2,000 to 3,000 casualties / injuries, while the BBC gave a nice, fat, round value of 10,000. And of course, we baptized the event with the moniker, “Massacre.”
To put things into context, Western Media refers to the NED - incited Hong Kong 2019 protests as “peaceful,” but thanks to mobile devices - there’s ample evidence against such, which surprisingly even Wikipedia describes. Molotov cocktail production / staging grounds, siege - type crossbows, Glocks (how the heck did they get those - Hong Kong is firearm - free and the police used American S&W revolvers as their sidearms up until recently). Not to mention us pink - skinned white bois outed directing some protesters - might have posted about one recently.
So yeah, it fits the mold, and is fully consistent with the Western Narrative, Foreign Policy, and modus operandi.
Stir up trouble, Balkanize the world into smaller fragments.

As always the history you are told is rarely actually completely factual.
For reference, I was in Macau at the time of the Tiananmen Square event and had a pretty good constant live update of what was going on in Bejing as well as in Hong Kong at the time.
There was plenty of media and journalists and live video footage / pictures all over at the time it was happening
(Interestingly enough it was kind of suppressed by like everybody later on).
There was a huge big protest focused in and around Tiananmen Square in Bejing that essentially became an encampment / sit in of thousands of students and others demanding like "democracy" in China, along with a small replica of the statue of liberty they setup. Sympathizers in (the then British Colony of) Hong Kong setup a make shift encampment and smaller replica of the statue of liberty.
There was some division among the Communist Party and also the Chinese Military about exactly what was to be done and so things kind of sat at a standstill for a bit of time while power struggles played out in the background. During this time there was that whole picture about the guy making the line of tanks stop and such.
Eventually the hardliners in the CCP won the power struggle and the hardline loyal Comisars in the military seized control of critical divisions and the order was given to end this thing with maximum prejudice.
So in the middle of the night, the tanks and the troops rolled into the square and began shooting everyone.
Panic ensued as everyone realized what was going on and many people fled the square.
Quite a few thousand people were killed that night, but the exact number will never be known due to the information being suppressed.
The square was cleared and locked down by the next day and then the authorities worked for months to round up and imprison anyone suspected of involvement. Then all talk about the event was essentially criminalized in China.
Some foreign reporters actually got shot during the "clean up" that night.
Meanwhile in Hong Kong, for "some reason" the British government took that as their cue to somewhat violently shut down the sympathy protest in Hong Kong and arrest anyone that refused to shut up and go away...
The USA did a bunch of hand wringing and saying how terrible that was.
But of course we couldn't let little things like a massacre of students and protesters get in the way of those glorious corporations the USA worships and serves making tons of money from cheap Chinese slave labour.
Probably claims of 3000 to 5000 killed that day are most likely close to being accurate and then probably another 10,000 to 20,000 "dissidents" being rounded up and vanished from society in one way or another over the next few months is probably close to accurate.
It's still illegal to talk about in China...
What a coincidence.
I was in Hong Kong on a three - month business jaunt during this period, and passed by Macau briefly.
We could have met.
Our American passports have such exorbitant privilege that we can pass by for 90 days - business or pleasure, it doesn’t matter - while neighboring Asian countries are granted only 14 days’ stay.
This was pre - handover Hong Kong.
To give more depth to the backdrop - the fear of the “Communists” was foremost on the mind of the Hong Kong people then. After all, the people who are thought of making Hong Kong what it is today were primarily the Shanghainese who fled from said “Communists.” The local Cantonese - who benefited as landlords - rode the wave. One would have thought that aligning with the idea that Beijing was perpetrating a massacre was a no - brainer.
So everybody was naturally tuned in to the news - but yet, like I said - the locals weren’t giving it much “concern” like us westerners were. While one would have expected overwhelming solidarity from the locals - the most prevalent remark was, surprisingly…
“…Stupid.”
I suppose a more literal translation would have been “…Crazy,” this being said in the context of having done something idiotic - going by the Cantonese vernacular.
Believe it or not - footage replayed on TV still came primarily from western networks.
I still remember the stations. Think one was TV-B Pearl, while the other one may have been “The Diamond.”
CNN and BBC were big players for footage.
Doubtful anyone would know the true figures, or what really happened.
So don’t put too much stock into what you’ve been told, either - because as far as that event is concerned, you likewise don’t really know…
…rather, look for consistencies in what we’ve been doing as far as our Foreign Policy’s concerned, and the cookie - cutter narratives it generates; odds are, what’s opposite would probably align with actual events more accurately.
