Rifle Scopes Clearidge Ultra XP5 4.5-22x50

Re: Clearidge Ultra XP5 4.5-22x50

Made in the same plant as the high end weavers and bushnell elites. should compare very close to a similar model.

Elite's are made in Japan. Those look like Chinese scopes. Would like confirmation of Made in Japan from the manufacturer in writing before I would go with "Made in Same Factory as Elites"

A shooting friend has an XP and is very pleased with it. It's on a varmint rifle, he says the view is both clear and bright and the adjustments are repeatable. He hangs out on 6mm BR, Campfire and Long Range Hunter. One of those sites shoud have more information.

All the Clearidge scopes are indeed manufactured in Japan. They are also manufactured by the same factory as the Bushnell Elite 4200 & 6500 and the Weaver Grand Slams.

Interested...How's the eye box? I was reading Chuck Hawks about the Nitrex branded Weavers, and that was an issue. I also found a small eye box to be an issue with other scopes which push up again price points, and hope that isn't the case with Clearidge.
