As for hard cases...YES. You can get a 2.0 AICS equipped rifle into either the Pelican, Storm, or Starlight 36" hard cases with the stock folded unless your barrel is longer than 26". I have a LA, Stage 2.0 Chassis on a 26" barreled 300WM and with some creative placement/foam cutting, it fits just fine and still has room for addt'l mags, bipod, sling, bore-guide, etc., as well as plenty of foam padding between the ends of the stock/barrel. As for getting the Eagle M4 DB into a 36" hard case, it will require some cramming if it will work at all becuase the OAL of the M4 DB is around 37.5", so the interior length of most of the compact hard cases will be an inch or more short to fit the M4 DB.
I don't have any pics of my case setup at work, but I'll try to post some later on for anyone interested. </div></div>
That would be cool. The length will be ok, just the thickness(width)
