I really don't know how to ask about this, much less run an effective search here on the hide, but I was hoping someone could help me out.

When practicing/competing, and recording every shot with all the pertinent information, has anyone ever developed an algorithm or anything of the sort that would help with accuracy when factoring in the increase of barrel temp based on # of rounds already fired in a string, weather conditions, etc.... that could help in determining adjustments to be made in addition to just reading wind and holding over? My apologies if this is a dumb question or has already been discussed ad nauseam. TIA

I see where you are going and your thought process. The problem with it though is that the amount of variables very drastically. Unless you space your shots out exactly the same each time and the difference of the the daily temp and how fast or hard the wind blows could effect barrel cool down and blah blah!! I dont think you will get a exact science or answer you are looking for.

However i think with tracking yoru shots in a data book and reviewing it after your strings I think you may see that after x amount of rounds you start to see a shift in your ppoint of impact and then you can figure out what your options are from there.

In addition we make a host of F-Class pages that may assist you
