This will be an interesting couple of years

- Shortages and large price increases for basic commodities like food, gas, etc. This has already started
- A further shift of wealth via focused and higher taxation. Manipulation of the equity and fixed income markets has been moving forward
- Global conflict and expansion for communist regimes and Mid East factions
- Potential for the USD to be supplanted as a safe haven currency.

Nobody here talks about it. It isn't part of regular conversation. I'd say half of the people I know got it, myself included, and none of us, save maybe the sole two libs I know, give even one pebble of shit whether anybody else decides to or not. I can't understand why it is anything other than a personal decision, but there you go.
I think #5 is the least likely of the group, because everybody else either has a closed currency or is fucking up even worse, but the rest are certainly things that never seemed likely in my lifetime, but do moreso now.
So, if I get the vaccine, I can still catch it and transmit it. But if I don't get it, i can catch it or still transmit it. Some people watch too much television.

Well, the issue I have with your statement is the V word.
It is not a vaccine. It is an inoculation or shot but NOT a vaccine.

I haven't worn a mask in a very long time. Yeah, first few weeks, didn't know what was up...then only at our favorite grocery store because the employees could get fined or fired if they interacted with the "unmasked". I decided we should shop elsewhere, fuck'em.
Almost everyone I know has taken the shot. I refuse because I don't want to be in some trial or study group. I'll wait until there is a full FDA approved VACCINE rather some gene therapy experiment.
My 81 year old mother and 85 year old step father both contracted this. My mom thought she had the seasonal allergy reaction going on that she has had for like 70 years. The stepdad decided he'd go get tested even though he had not one single symptom. He tested positive (of course) so the county health people pretty much demanded my mother get a test. She tested positive (of course). She went for her regular walks twice a day, got on their stationary bike like normal. still had the sniffles...NEVER put a mask on. My sister and I went shopping for them but they really just took care of themselves.
My sister and her family have all had the virus AND got vaccinated.
The wife and I have never had a symptom and have not been tested. We don't plan to be tested for something we have no symptoms of and do not plan to be "inoculated" because the damned shot doesn't do what it says AND the disorder is HIGHLY survivable anyway. We plan to allow our immune systems to do their jobs like evolutionary mankind has done. If my immune system fails to react appropriately and I die, well, c'est la vie. I was born about 60 years and a month ago and have been oxidizing ever since...it's inevitable.
Do you think it is just this subject?

This is going the exact same way as the masks - everyone is getting into the club, and everyone that is in the club demands everyone be in it as well. Now that the mask club is loosing membership slowly, we have this new club surrounding the same old fear. It keeps the agenda alive, using lemmings who have no individual bravery to gang up in large enough numbers to demand from others what the lemmings have been told they want by the powers that be. Once this vaccine effort loses its momentum it will be onto the next thing to keep it all moving, but it will be based on the same fear and promise of somehow going back to the good old days of 2019 and rewards of maybe a small BBQ on the 4th.
They want validation that they made the right choice. The more people that get vaccinated, the more they feel like they were correct.

A lot of this will just further the divide between good places to live and bad. Not many of us end up in federal court, though the VA is a federal issue. Most other services are state and local, and honestly if shitty people in shitty places make their lives shittier, it isn't on me.

I deal with banking issues that I imagine are a good bit more complex than most, and I haven't been inside a bank in years. Do people actually enter those places?

The other way they have found is a nice gov feature of requiring “licenses” for EVERYTHING, instead of police coming after you, bad optics, they’ll tell businesses they need to enforce it or get their “license” yanked, now it’s not big bad gov doing it, it’s private businesses “supporting the science”, their business their rules and all that Jazz.

Well this licensing is a problem: how are you going to license illegal aliens? If you license them you then have documentation they are here and where they are located. Then there is no reason not to arrest them. But then they cant vote. What to do?

agree with most but not the dollar. over 70% of world's assets are denominated in the dollar so it's still safe. When national crypto currencies hit, then we'll see a change I believe but there will be ample time as to not implode debt markets
