Alzheimers is awful, don't get me wrong, I wouldn't wish that upon anybody under normal circumstances. I saw my mom decline at 85 and my grandmother at 90 - it's hard to watch. Fortunately, Mom knew she was missing it and she set forth to get everything done she needed to do. Because coming from The Great Depression and WW2...she prepared!!!!!!!!

When I was active on massive online space battle interactive shooters, there would be hordes of obnoxious shit talking Chinese trolls who liberally used and openly bragged about using cheat codes and bots to "farm" the game for monetary gain and their bullshit clogged up all of the chat windows where the legit players are trying to get a decent match going. Other times, they would manage to inject all sorts of malware into the server code and cause it to crash or glitch.. We had to deal with this kind of shit on a repeated basis until somebody found out that all you had to do was type in "TIANANMEN SQUARE 1989" in the chat box... BOOM! All of the trolls vanished immediately like a switch had been flipped. Afterwards, whenever there is a tournament going and the Chinese trolls invaded the server again?... "TIANANMEN SQUARE 1989"... POP! Now enjoy a freshly cleaned and sanitized server...

It was THAT fucking easy...

Of course they would be back very shortly and many of them are good enough coders and hackers that they can bypass the Great Firewall within minutes, log back in and curse us the fuck out as if they caught us banging their sisters, but it was hilarious to use it again and again on them whenever they thought they were too cool to follow the rules of the server like the rest of the folks that are using it...

Give OP all the shit you want but as a Norwegian, a Norwegian Patriot, Veteran of the Norwegian Armed forces, serving side by side with US soldiers and also seen a lot of my friends continue serving together with US troops I hope you see that this stuff kinda pisses us off.

We have a good system here in Norway, it works for us; it’s not a system for the USA, it is a system for our small country far up in the North of the world. That some US political figure flagging that he wants to copy this do not mean we are ok having our reputation dragged in the shit. If anyone want to talk Norwegian politics we can do that in a different thread but I don’t feel it’s right to pull this shit just cause one asshole though it was a good idea to crap the US political process.

Yea, and would say as a former member of the armed services I have also been (although small) part of the government organization. also the current PM is from the conservative part, a party I have been member of since 96.

Do I agree with everything, hell no but that is just part of life. But again, it’s a Norwegian system for us, not a Norwegian system for Americans.

yep, but it is not a constitutional freedom; it is only in US that have that written down of all nations. You can own weapons but it’s all based on licenses and participation of sport shooting/hunting.

I personally have several bolt rifles, a couple of shotguns, some also short barrel semi, some semi auto pistols and a semi AR. But you have to apply for all firearms purchase.

there is no Norwegian who link firearms to freedom; it’s not part of our nature or culture; it is today around 1.22 million firearms in Norway with a population of 5 million; around 20% of all households in Norway are a registered gun owner.

With all of the fuckery and rape being perpetrated by a common point over there, I am genuinely, and unpleasantly surprised that no durka durka criminal scumbags had been found in dark and out of the way places, beaten, stabbed, or garrotted to death, and no perps ever being found.
