I recently acquired two Ruger Mark II identical handguns from someone who just wanted to get rid of them. They are in good condition with very little wear on them. Upon further review they have consecutive serial numbers.
Does having consecutive serial numbers make them more valuable if sold as a pair? I looked on gunbroker to see what Mark II's are selling for and one of these model's is up for sale for $425. I really doubt they are worth that much each since I can buy a Mark III of a comparable model for about $300. I'm kinda just wondering if I have something special here or just two ordinary used plinkers?
Any insight is much appreciated.
This is a quick cell phone picture of the two guns.
