By the way, if you are using a target taper, set the initial barrel (B) to a hundreth over the intended width. THen use a small (E) and the actual barrel width for (F).
SO for instance. A rock creek AMU to be finished at 18 inches.

C) 1.060421 (remember that the diameter at the muzzle on an 18 inch cut has to be calculated, because the .900 diameter is on the barrel blank at 29 inches!)
