I have no idea what is involved, but it seems like it might be an interesting project! Anyone have any good sources for info on this? Google didn't come up with much unfortunately. I know it's legal to do- there was PLENTY of talk about legality, but little to none about actually doing it!

easy done . I did a few of them a couple three years back . They work good . <span style="font-size: 11pt"><span style="font-weight: bold">if your a "garage MacGyver" your GTG .</span></span>
You need a piece of NV . Reason is that all laser diodes are NOT focused yet . Easy to focus the strait-line beam to a dot but you need NV to see to focus .
It's Legal to Build any laser you want for you or buddies. just cant sell commercial retail .
