There are some VA hospitals way better than others simply due to access to talent. The Durham, NC VA shares a footprint with Duke. It is the old Duke hospital, with the new one being across the street. A lot of good doctors volunteer time there, and don’t make a dime from my understanding.

Still way more to be fixed with them.
