Let's see. An '07 Vette stickered for around $53k on average; today's price is around $35k. <span style="font-weight: bold">Net loss is around 34%. </span>

Here's an '07 F430; stickered for $218k and has a buy it now of $150k. <span style="font-weight: bold">Net loss is 31%</span>

Here's an '07 Gallardo. This would have stickered right at $205k and has a buy it now of $141k. <span style="font-weight: bold">Net loss is 31%</span>

Here's an '07 911 Turbo. Stickered at $149k; buy it now $86k. <span style="font-weight: bold">Net loss of 42%.</span>

Here's an '07 Aston Martin DB9. Stickered for $196k; buy it now for $86k. <span style="font-weight: bold">Net loss of 56%.</span>

Here's an '07 Aston Martin Vantage. Sticker was $124k; buy it now for $69k. <span style="font-weight: bold">Net loss of 44% </span>

There is a reason why you never saw a lot of Vipers around. They are uncomfortable as hell to drive. They run hot, your legs are in a odd position, the pedals are really close to each other and they just have a cheap ass interior. People want to complain about the Vettes interior. The Viper interior has Neon instrument controls... At least my old 98GTS did. I had it for about 3 years and put a whopping 4k miles on the car. Still have some CCW 505, in 20s and 19 w Michilen Pilot Sports on them I need to get rid of. The only redeeming value of a Viper is that it will stop people in their tracks.

I hear the SRTs are a lot more daily drivable though. I still entertain the idea of getting one still. But it just doesn't have that "look" like the GTS did. And there is news of Chrysler bringing the Viper back!

My buddy got a viper... '98 I think

his gets more looks, and <span style="font-weight: bold">might</span> pull on me.

but mine is much better on mileage, and holds it's own

Both are our daily drivers

That and they didn't have traction control or ABS until latter models. Not a problem for me but they can get a bit squirrelly for a person not used to the acceleration or "pumping" the brake on hard decel. They don't come in that often so I have only had fun with 3 of them before and haven't driven one in more than 5 years.
Power for early model Corvettes are only a supercharger away. That really perks them up. I have done 4 installs myself and have helped a few who got into some trouble.

There are few kits you can buy, they'll put it in the car for you, and tune it and everything for few grand. pretty much, drop off the car, and pick it up next week

NEXT WEEK! Dang I have done a kit with cooler kit in one day.

lol, my turbo took half a day

but I did it myself. I didn't drop it off at a shop

Disconnect the BCM1 & IPC fuse in the I/P fuse block for 15 seconds.
Reconnect the BCM1 & IPC fuse
Check and see if it goes away.
If it doesn't send me your VIN and I will see if you had the bulletin done on your car that removes the lock.
As it may need 04006C: Product Safety - Electronic Column Lock System harness installed. I usually get about an hour flag time and takes me about 20 minutes.
