Makes it easier,as mechanical integrity should be in order. I'd then honestly evaluate the release and how the group was shot.
Typically when a scope gets "weird",is does so randomly and without pattern, though sometimes even modest erector corrections can cause vertical as guts settle.
It is plausible that you could shift vertical, with differing forearm loads on the bipod, but your heart would have to be in it.(grin)
What was the toe of the stock resting upon?
Alright I'm going with bad technique. Shot the flat group followed by another vertical string. I stole my wife's yoga mat (god help me if she finds out) to cushion the ground.
Man, that's a nice setup you got there, except for the yoga mat... looks to me like your not doing too shabby for that being 350 yards....
if the buttpad isn't EXACTLY in the same spot every time when I take a shot, I get vertical stringing. Also, as stated above, rear bag. And again, it's probably just me because I suck... But when I need to squeeze the rear bag, or if I secure it in a way that doesn't give it enough contact area with the ground, I get vertical stringing. It's never severe stringing though, just like the results you are seeing. It's there, but for someone like me, negligible.
