I’m not asking to play games or anything.

Like many of you, I have a family, friends, colleagues and a good social media presence.

I don’t know anyone who has even gotten sick. I’m just curious if you guys do?

If you do have a person who is infected, can you please let us know their condition and update us if they get better?

I just want to keep it to the facts.

Thank you.

So luckily no immediate family are sick. Our big concern is my father in-law. A navy vet already late into COPD and is on 4ltr of oxygen as is. He stays with us during the winter months and is with us now. Not ideal but if something happened we are better situated to getting him to a facility than in his home town.

I do have coworkers whose family are ill. The closest to me is a life long family friend. Her and my mother have been best friends for 60years. Both her and her husband contracted COVID-19. She has mostly recovered her husband is on a ventilator and not expected to make it. Obviously his age 69 I believe is a major factor.

My wife's uncle in his early 70s. Boston. Was in the hospital for 2 weeks. Was on a Ventilator but has since gotten off. They said once he could get up and go to the bathroom on his own without oxygen, he could go home. Yesterday he went home to further recover.. Assuming he is not contagious at this point as being released from the hospital. Went in about 5 days after having symptoms. So it's been close to 3 weeks now from symptoms to release from Hospital.

One of my high school friends has a daughter (maybe in her 30's?) who tested positive but I have not heard anything since the test results. Hence my vote "yes, mild, in progress".

I know this man very well.
Pray for him that he gets off the ventilator with some life quality remaining.

A person who worked with my wife at a major trucking hub distribution center (essential business) is gone.

Several there are in various stages of mild to not hospitalization, recovering at home.

The two counties that provide the most employees to that business have 110 of the 1270 confirmed cases in our state.

The hospital that serves those two+ counties has 29 seriously ill confirmed patients.

Those two counties have 10 of the 27 reported dead, 6 of the confirmed 17 dead.

I have lived in both counties and have extended family in both. A number of our family has been exposed and either in 14 day quarantine, or now out of quarantine.

Stepson has a recurring septic arthritis issue that had him in the hospital for 7 days during this, we know what it's like to not be able to see your patient in the hospital when they undergo major surgery, and to be in the 14 day quarantine because we were all exposed. The first confirmed hospital employee case was on his floor during this time, working, when confirmed. It's an interesting feeling.......

Every day my wife and I thank God all our family is still above ground. His Will be done. We are blessed.

I did not vote. After working 38 years public service in those two counties, who and what I know probably isnt the same as the rest of you, unless you are a first responder.
My written response is my family based.

A highschool buddy of mine and his daughter got it. His description did not make it sound "mild" but they did not require hospitalization. Early 40s and elementary school age probably played into that. They are over the worst of it, but lingering coughs and shortness of breath remain 2 weeks later.

Since I pressed send on my first post, the new number was posted, now 74 and 96 confirmed in the two counties. We have 170 of the now 1315 confirmed. The death count also went up.
Right now, I dont want to know IF I know them.

We are country and small town....

The aunt of my wife’s best friend (they’ve all known each other for the last twenty years) died two days ago. Already had pneumonia, and got the C19 bug. In her 70’s. She didn’t really stand a chance of recovering and we all knew it. ?

There have been two cases of it where i work and at least two cases where the wife was working. She got sent home cause shes pregnant. The work calls we've been having make this a pretty serious thing. Its a tough call to say right now if it was the right thing to wreck the economy or not. That being said you cant trust shit that the Communist Party of China is putting out in terms of stats and numbers. I'm all for a leadership strike on them. Decapitate the snakes head.

Woman at work out of maternity leave said her oldest child came on 3 Fridays ago got bad sick, then that Sunday the middle kid got sick, the next Friday husband sounded like he was drowning. They didn't get tested because no test kits at the time here. She and the newborn are apparently ok. Said it was hard on her husband who's skinny and runs a lot. All had fever but not much over 102 if I recall. Shortly after their recovery the school notified her that the school the oldest attends had a teacher test positive. So she's sure that's what it was.
