Craddock Valkyrie Barrel Chamber

Go to the reloading depot section look for the valkyrie section go to page 7 below you'll see a 500 yd and a 1000 yard group. It will answer your question

No groups to post, but I have a Craddock chambered Rock Creek 22" barrel with matching bolt and it shoots the 88s really well. It also liked the factory 90g fusion loads, but I honestly have not had those out to 1000 yet. The Hornady factory 88s just do so well in this barrel...at a faster velocity than Hornady lists on their box out of a 24" barrel.

In my opinion, his barrels are worth every bit of what they cost.

The criterions are priced really well. You do have to pay up for the rock creek but if the criterions shoot as good as my bolt barrel there shouldnt be a need for the rock creek!

I have nothing bad to say about Criterion barrels, but I can vouch for the chamber. I suggest that you call and talk to Paul. He knows what he is doing with this caliber. Be prepared to buy, you won't regret it.

No info on the contour on their website. Is the contour on all of them .750 at the muzzle no matter the gas block size?

Again I cannot speak to the Criterion barrels, but the Rock Creek with .875" gas block is .875" at the muzzle. (Disclaimer: I am doing this from memory, so the actual measurements may not be those, but the muzzle measurement on mine was same as gas block size)

I just received my Craddock Upper Two weeks ago. I finally took it to the range and zeroed it this past weekend.

Mine is a 22", Criterion barrel, 1-7 twist. It shot everything really well! I was impressed. I zeroed with the cheap American Eagle 75 grain. That stuff was submoa; really solid stuff for the price. I then tried the 88 ELD-M (which I intend to use) and it was shooting 1/2 moa to just under an inch. I won't have data on anything past 100 yards until next weekend.

Chrono numbers (Magnetospeed V3)
88 ELD-M ammo - (10 shots) 2630fps - 11.7SD. I am shooting suppressed so drop 20-25 fps from that number if you aren't.

Very hard to be for the price. Shipping was fast and communication was great. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from Craddock.

I have a Craddock 22” Criterion I couldn’t be more pleased with the barrel or Craddock them selfs.
I have shot all the federal ammo except the fusion and the Hornady and they all shoot great.

I talked to Paul about one as well and I would agree that he has it nailed down! I have two uppers from him already (not 224) that are amazing, so I would def. buy again! I may pick up one of the built uppers. He said some of the issue is the Federal ammo was very inconsistent. So, for the folks that reload which is most, it should be awesome!

Craddock has it figured out and has 3 great barrel options. Sanders and CMT got great uppers as well.. Hey guys just to give you other sources we have few groups over on Facebook been on the frontier from day one and been talking and building BA Valks since spring. Yea I was in the reloading group for a day. Posted that I caught a good x-caliber sale and how good of a deal they had going. I asked if anyone else got in on it and if anyone had comments on their Valkyrie barrel. The douche leader of the gestapo showed up within 20 seconds and scolded me for asking how everyone’s x-calibers were doing because “you should have used the search function”. Long story short I made him feel like an idiot for trying to play sheriff so he deleted me lmao. It was hilarious. What a tool.

Also, I’m not sure @Lowlight would appreciate you pushing those groups here. I’ve seen you post this a few times. It seems that this is the only thing that you post... Yes it’s just a Facebook group but and as soon as I joined the Facebook group I got an invitation to visit and join another site “because we are afraid Facebook won’t allow this group much longer”. I am guessing that invite leads to a site that obtains revenue from advertising. Not a good look to push your website on someone else’s website for free.

I bought a complete 224 Valkyrie upper from Josh at Craddock and could not be happier. I’m planning to call him to order barrels and matched bolts for two more rifles in the next few weeks.
