I picked up a Crimson Trace 6-24x 2-Series optic for my T1x a couple months back and so far so good, but I struggle to get it in focus. When I shoot it next to another rifle with a Strike Eagle 3-18x or my old mans Vx-1 on his 17hmr, it is night and day difference. It seems just seems a shade off of clear, but tough to describe. Has anyone else dealt with these optics before?

I realize this thread is a couple months old, but I wanted to see what the verdict is for the 2/3 series optics.

The specs don’t seem to line up on CT’s website. For example, the 4-16 model is listed at 9” long and 34oz, but midwayusa has it listed at 12.4” and 29oz. If midway’s specs are correct, it seems like it would make a pretty good compact hunting optic with the 31’ FOV. Add the $600 price point and it seems to be a hell of a good deal for a Japanese made optic.

Has anyone used the 4-16x50 yet?
