So Djdillon is no longer working on rifles. I missed out by waiting too long for him to work on my 455 trainer. Who else is out there working on these rifles? I am looking for the same that DJ did where he permanently attaches a new barrel to the receiver and does all the goodies. Please post who works on these rifles.

Gordon Eck, Kevin Nevius, Mark Penrod, Evelio McDonald, Chad Dixon, Mark Cheesebro all have a pedigree of building rimfire winners, I am sure I left a few of the list inadvertently....permanently attaching the barrel is no big deal, just a simple application of the appropriate loc-tite/permatex adhesive to properly prepped metal surfaces....

DJ's "stress free" rebarrels were glue-ins

DJ and Evelio discussing gluing in Anschutz's

Kevin is both an acclaimed rimfire smith and world class rimfire competitor. DJ and Evelio have both glued in 100's of rimfire barrels with a fine reputation for accuracy. I can internally thread actions myself but choose to glue them when I rebarrel rimfire rigs. Unscrewing a threaded action is slightly easier than heat/press on a glue-in but both are NBD, trying to thread a slip fit action can cause you problems depending on how/where a action is heat treated potentially, but as I said above, it's your money....
