Suppressors Dakota Silencer/Mack Brothers...

Can someone tell me what the relationship is between these two companies (or are they the same?). Just curious, as I (or at least the trust did) recently ordered a Varminter 4.0, and saw the relationship of sorts, but no clear explanation.

Anyone got the scoop?

Yeah, I understand that. My question was more in the direction of, there's a relationship there, one that says DS is for folks in States x,y, and z, and everyone else get's their cans from MB. What gives? Is this a Natchez Shooters Supply type dynamic (family businesses, that agree to limit the markets on each of them, so both businesses don't conflict with each other).

Just curious is that is the same case here...

Like I said, not a big deal, just curious as my trust is in MT, so we have to go through DS.

From what I understand is that Mack brothers makes the direct thread on suppressors for Dakota. They make they're own as a qd can and sell it under their name.

As far as anything else you could sure call up either Dale Mack or Brandon Maddox from Dakota for the answer.

I believe that Horizon Machine (Mack Brothers) we’re making cans sold by DS before kicking off the Mack Bothers label. Some of their cans are exclusive through DS and other are not. I think a lot of it goes back to the brothers preferring to supply product to others to sell rather than sell themselves.

Regardless they make a pretty decent can. I've got 2 of their v3 cans. One downside to titanium is the heat though, mirage sets in quick.

Yeah, I was using a 3.0 two weeks ago (just ordered a 4.0). Very nice cans. Their baffle jack is well worth it when it comes to taking them apart when dirty.
