Oh man, I DO NOT miss those mountains. I can still remember climbing those with 82nd's 501st PIR CSM and a crew of Bullet Sponges. Since I didn't really have a 'real job' I had to FO for them since they were new in town back in OEF...yeah, OEF, there was no II, III etc yet.
It's a funny thing. Once them Airborne's and Ranger types get on ground, they are just like everyone else for the most part. Stuck humping steep ass dirt and rock like damn mountain goats!

Far as i know there is no army reserve unit here the only close one is in san Antonio, but this poser might be living here and drilling in san antonio.
