Dark is an understatement. That one is one of the most fucked up movies ever produced and it simply takes you into the deepest potentials of utter depravity and sadism that the human mind is capable of. The reaction of the public when this one came out was very much akin to the reaction of the residents of Plainfield, WI, and the rest of the US when the crimes of Ed Gein were discovered.

Coincidentally, this was around the same time when the Internet was flooded with stories about the dark web and the shadow web...

I always thought that "Boondock Saints" was a "dark comedy" as well as a great "theological drama" at the same time.

That 'cat' part though, absolutely hilarious. Tell me that's not 'dark'!

The Ash Vs. The Evil Dead series they did recently was actually pretty funny as well, lots of classic campy humour.

Ill second that, I enjoyed it and had a few good laughs. I wish Bruce Campbell had made more movies, I have enjoyed him in most of his work.

Another lower budget, campy Bruce Campbell movie I liked was "Bubba Ho-Tep". I think that one is on Amazon.
